How would you guys flesh out the underdeveloped fictional cities of the DC universe?
What has drawn many fans to the world of DC is its fantastical world-building through these fictional but hyper-stylized fictional cities. The prime examples of these are the big two - Gotham and Metropolis, with larger-than-life scale with distinct stylistic direction yet opossing aesthetic, but also the fascinating lore and the characters in it makes these cities feel alive. But only a city like Gotham always gets the golden treatment (this is the Batman we're talking about here); there are always many different writers that want a hand in adding something new and different to Gotham, making the city more in-depth than the rest of the fictional towns of DC. But this also means the other cities are often left ignored and, by extension, struggling to have their own unique identities. Even Metropolis, while having its own identity, still has a lot of untapped potential in other aspects.
Do you guys have any ideas to flesh out the other cities?? What's your ideal aesthetic/visual, the worldbuilding, the lore, etc? For places like Central City, Keystone, Fawcett City, Star City, Bludhaven, etc?
